Angry Language | Dark Clouds | Little Fire | Orphans Cry | Propaganda War | Since Cain

Angry Language

Sad I’m learning an angry language

and I’m armed with the tools of rage

but it seems I am slowly forgetting

all I learned from a bible page

so I longed for a sunshine mountain

far away from the ones who are near

I’m afraid I might loose my composure

and destroy all the things I hold dear

said I’m learning an angry language

and I’m armed with the tools of rage

but it seems I am slowly forgetting

all I learned from a bible page

so I’m gonna seek the spaces in my thought

to unlearn what I’ve been taught

seek the spaces in my thought

to unlearn what I’ve been taught

seek the spaces in my thought

to unlearn what I’ve been forced

Dark Clouds

Spring comes early, autumn’s late

unwelcome winter procrastinates

see, the seas have taken over the land

there’s a fleet of ships, resting on the sand

(chorous)

dark clouds don’t always bring rain

but smoke is a sign of fire

dark clouds don’t always bring rain

but smoke is a sign of fire

caterpillars early, chicks come late

species die before their natural rate

and what sadder sign can possibly be

dry parched river bed, flamed charred tree

(chorous)

dark clouds don’t always bring rain

but smoke is a sign of fire

dark clouds don’t always bring rain

but smoke is a sign of fire

and the heat we’re stirring up

will bring us all regret

and an aching breaking earth

will finally get some rest

spring comes early, autumn’s late

summer’s early, ole’ man wint’ won’t wait

(chorous)

dark clouds don’t always bring rain

but smoke is a sign of fire

dark clouds don’t always bring rain

but smoke is a sign of fire

Little Fire

Hoping hope against all hope

row and bail to keep afloat

(chorous)

though the winds grow higher

we light a fire

the winds grow higher be brave lil fire

Easy squeeze brings no unrest

remember to far East is West

(chorous)

and though the winds grow higher

we light a fire

the winds grow higher be brave don’t tire

They say we whispered now we scream

the once polite are now obscene

so a conflict they’ll pursue

we no longer dance on cue

(chorous)

though they grow higher

we light our fire

the winds grow higher

fight truth to power

Hey we whispered now we scream

once too polite we’re now obscene

so a conflict will ensue

we won’t see your point of view

(chorous)

though they grow higher

we blaze a fire

the winds grow higher

fight truth to power

force rules with wrong

till right grows strong

Orphans Cry

Devils who ride on horseback

love my sleepy eyes

they come for one, they comfort none

babies too must die

hear them slaughter, butchered where they lie

beckoning to the skies they weep

the heavens won’t reply

(chorous)

the orphans cry

on the outskirts of your life

they cry

you indifferently deny

more, wanting more is not a need

your eyes are closed from suffering by your life of blinding speed

more, no no more is what we plead

what if your child withered you watched

and simply couldn’t feed

(chorous)

the orphans cry

on the outskirts of your life

they cry

you indifferently deny

hypnotized in the cradle of a comfortable recliner

your hands on controls you simply flip by

their suffering oh their suffering is not your reality

but to turn a blind eye, oh lord

is pure brutality

(chorous)

they cry on the outskirts of your lives

they cry, you indifferently deny

the devils who ride on horseback , love your sleepy eyes

they know for sure you will ignore

you sleep, I sleep, I die

(chorous)

they cry on the outskirts of your lives

they cry, you indifferently deny

If only my refrain, could end their pain

i'd repeat myself a million times again

(chorous)

they cry on the outskirts of your lives

they cry, you indifferently deny

one tear to many, one tear too many

Propaganda War

It’s a propaganda war

they tell us lies like dem before

the truth they hide from me

oh how frail reality

(chorous)

freedom for some, captivity for the rest

freedom for some, freedom for some

my brethren killing brethren

the chase is their obsession

It’s a propaganda war

tailored lies untutored scores

a truth a hiding spree

how they veil reality

(chorous)

freedom for some, captivity for the rest

freedom for some, freedom for some

my brethren killing brethren

the chase is their obsession

On a poplar tree they hanged me

strangest fruit to ever grow

they gnaw at us, they claw at us

they hate the fate, they help create

(chorous)

freedom for some, captivity for the rest

freedom for some, freedom for some

my brethren killing brethren

the chase is their obsession

with no printing press

the lies we can’t address

they steal away our joy and steal our happiness

Since Cain

Is there anyone with sense, put and end to this violence

I kill you, you kill me

we’ve got an empty country

so the cycle goes around, it goes up and comes down

soon you smile becomes a frown

when karma visits you town

come in silence with your soul

peace not violence is the goal

come in silence with no sword

peace not violence is the word

cause war’s a boomerang

round and round it goes

where it stops nobody know

round and round it goes

where it stops nobody know

and is the GOD of the east

not the GOD of the west

or has he chosen some children

and forsakened the rest

the GOD of the east is he not GOD of the west

has he chosen sam’s children and forsakened the rest

all things great and small, he loves them all

all things great and small, he loves them all

Since Cain, since Cain

Since Cain slew Abel

misery and pain

Since Cain, since Cain

Since Cain, slew Abel

misery and pain

Since Cain, slew Abel

violence remain

hold firmly to the thought

peace can be gotten if sought
