Nesbeth

Look at me now!

NESBETH INTERVIEW

How were the first shows of this tour?

It was good, I performed in Turino, Italy – I love the reception! It was my first time there, and I’m looking forward to go back some time soon. And last night was in Hannover, it was also my first time there, performing, and here I am now in Hamburg!

What was your main focus during the last 4 or 5 years?

My focus was to continue to put out songs, because the fans are requesting more and more songs. Of course, you know, the pandemic would have disturbed the whole thing, but here I am, back on track, just continuing to do what I do best and what I love! I’m just happy to be here.

You have been putting out several singles over the last months… is there a greater work in the pipeline, like an EP or an album?

Most definitely! There are so many songs that I’ve been recording, and I will give you more information about that soon. I have a new song entitled “Done With Everybody” that will soon release, and I got a single called “Friends” that is out, with Frassman Brilliant from the USA, and a whole lot more on the verge of coming out. I’m recording and recording and recording! (laughs) The focus now is to keep putting out those songs.

You mentioned Frassman Brilliant… which other artists do you work with right now?

I have a collaboration with a young artist called Jahshii, “Ring The Alarm”, out a couple month ago, and there are some other collaborations loading.

What do you think is a message the people need to hear in these times?

I would definitely encourage the world to embrace love. It doesn’t matter which part of the world you are located, it is important to have love within your heart so that you can easily share it with the people. We all need someone to either listen to us at some time or the other, or we need someone to help us the same way people need us to help them. I think for this world to be a better place we first have to love ourselves, understand ourselves, so that we can be able to love or understand someone else. In a collaborative effort, this world can definitely be a better place.

Yes, let’s work towards that! Thank you and welcome to Hamburg!
