Toppa started being a host of the Irie Ites Radioshow on the Free Radio Kassel in the end of the 90ies. Once a week the show features the best in Reggae and Dub – it still has a growing audience by broadcasting locally and, next to that, worldwide through the internet. In 1999 Toppa and friends started the Irie Ites Sound in Kassel where he became the backbone as the #1 selekta. The sound gathered a huge fanbase over the past years playing at dances in Hamburg, Berlin, Bern, Zurich etc.. Next to this Irie Ites.de started as an online mag providing information on various issues dealing with the reggae-world. 2008 saw the launch of the Irie Ites Music label. Ever since then vinyl-releases with Dubmatix,  Hornsman Coyote, Tack>>Head, Aldubb, Earlyworm and others have seen the light of day.
With all the experience gathered in these various fields, Toppa started to produce reggae himself. One of his favourite sound is the digital dancehall started with the Sleng Teng-riddim. With the release of Victory Rock featuring artists like SK Simeon, Babamessage and Papa Sbadi he prooves that he is on his way to the premier league of producers in this field. SK Simeon

From the city of Kampala, Uganda, to the sprawling suburbs of Melbourne, SK Simeon has been gigging in Melbourne’s reggae dancehall/dub scene since early 2011 with his breathtaking singjay vocal delivery, and a mixture of fun, versatile and conscious lyrics. He has graced the stage at Brisbane festival Island Vibes, performed along side Rude Cat Sound System, Melbourne’s Heartical Sound System, Roguemagnetic, Adrian Wall, and System Unknown.

Babamessage

Singer and MC at the Irie Ites Soundsystem from Uganda. Known for performing powerful hit tunes on Irie Ites dances. Whenever he takes the mic you can hear his passion for reggae and the love of his african roots.

Papa Sbadi

Reggaeartist from Salento, Italy (known as “the italian Jamaica”). In 2002 he and Trusta (Dharma Dub) founded the Soundsystem Crossculchasound. They had major success in their country. / years later Papa Sbadi decided to leave the sound in order to have more time for his personal projects. He has worked with Hadal X, Jatze Katze, Banjuul Bongos, Trusta and King Luan among others. Today he is one of the singers of Sane Ground – a band based in Germany.
