Headcornerstone
"Stand Strong"
(Soulfire Artists/Rough Trade -2004)
hervor. Ein fettes BIG UP an Conscious Fiyah & Crew! German Roots-Reggae
at it's best!
The
debut album "Headcornerstone" (Echo Beach) and their appearance
at the Summerjam 03 at Cologne (as well as many other places) brought
the Band into the heads of the german reggaecommunity and here in particular
the rootsfans. Over all 2003 was a good year for music coming out of
Munich and region (f.e. Roots Rockers, Dubios Neighbourhood ). From
the distance it appears like a starting signal for a lot of new things
to come. With "Stand Strong" the new & very pleasing album
of Headcornerstone is running on the turntables and in the CD players
of the country. "Stand Strong" shines just like the predecessor
within the rootsreggae szene. Before all the versatility of the voices
(as guests Jahcoustix, Paco Mendoza (aka Criminal), Wally Warning, Uwe
Banton and Earl 16) and the again first-class musical achievement are
to mention. A fat BIG UP at Conscious Fiyah & crew! German rootsreggae
at it's best!
