Global Reggae Charts – July 2018

There are a lot of new entries that hit the album charts. As it was expectable, Kabaka Pyramid reaches out to number ONE with his so called debut Album “Kontraband” (that we don’t appreciate that much here, while it is very popular among DJs and critics worldwide)! Romain Virgo, who will be live on stage at Reggae Jam (Bersenbrueck) and Keep It Real Jam (Pfullendorf) in Germany, not only defends his 3rd position, but climbs up even on 2nd.

The new ones: Ziggy Marley, Charlie P, Dactah Chando and the Skarra Mucci collaborations album.

Among the singles, Linval Thompson is the surprising chart-breaker with his charismatic “Fussing & Fighting”, a track worth to try. Chronixx enters the Top 20 ranking two times as a featured artist, alongside Protoje (“No Guarantee”) as well as with duet partner Alborosie (“Contradiction”).
